I’m diving deep into the 5 Day Challenge, also known as the Learn, Launch, Lead Challenge, in my review. It’s all about giving you the tools to start your business and take the lead — that’s the idea behind its catchy name.
Chances are, you’ve seen someone on social media talking it up, and maybe you’re not totally sold on the idea. That’s totally okay.
By the time you finish reading this, you’ll have a clearer idea about whether this challenge is something you want to jump into.
5 Day Challenge Pros and Cons

Cons
- If you’re just starting out and aren’t too savvy with tech or computers, this could feel like a lot to handle right off the bat.

- They offer their more advanced course at a lower price, but it’s only for a short while. No stress about missing out, just something to consider.
Who is this Challenge for?
This training is perfect for anyone looking to start and run their own online business from scratch. It’s a neat little course that teaches you how to use social media and bite-sized videos to draw in the people you want to reach.
However, if you’ve got a business that’s already doing great online, have done their old challenge that’s no longer available, or you’re not ready to put in the work and are chasing a quick cash grab, this isn’t the right fit for you.
5 Day Challenge Review: Learn, Launch, Lead
Dave Sharpe heads up the challenge, and he’s a pretty cool guy with a name for himself in digital marketing — you might’ve seen him in Forbes or Entrepreneur. He’s got a way of making things entertaining when you’re learning with him.
The training is run by Legendary Marketer, which has a big team of over 150 people across the globe. They’ve been a big help in getting newcomers to really go for it and set up their own businesses online.
Here’s what I think about the program.
Once you get going with the 5 Day Challenge, you’ve got a choice to make. Do you want someone guiding you, or do you want to take it on solo for the entire time you’re learning?
I went with Option 1 because talking to an advisor seemed like a good move. It would give me a solid foundation to share my thoughts on the course. Down below, you’ll find what I thought about our conversation.
Day 1: Learn—Introduction to Digital Marketing
On the first day, Dave Sharpe, who’s the CEO of Legendary Marketer, kicks off with a one-hour video.
He begins by getting everyone pumped up, focusing on the importance of having the right mindset to start an online business. He really dives into how our own thoughts can often hold us back and what we can do to move past these barriers.
He then talks about various business models people typically use for digital businesses, but points out that four of them stand out as the most effective.
He calls these the 4 Core. They are centered around either selling digital products or sharing knowledge. These four models are:
- Affiliate marketing
- Courses
- Coaching
- Events
Each of these has its unique approach to doing business online.
Next, Dave shows us how he sets up these business models using a consistent approach every time. This involves:
- Creating sales funnels, which he explains are not the same as just having a website.
- Setting up optin pages, bridge pages, and pages where you sell your product.
- Using email marketing to connect with people.
I felt the previous 15 Day Challenge had too many unnecessary details, so I was really happy to see Dave pack in so much useful info in just an hour in this updated challenge.
After you finish watching the video, you get some homework. One task is to sign up for a free trial with ClickFunnels, which is a leading tool for building funnels.
This challenge also throws in some neat extras. You get ready-made funnels for the four business models Dave mentioned. You can add these straight into your ClickFunnels account.
And don’t stress about setup; there’s a video that walks you through everything step by step.
Your next to-do is to open a free account with Aweber. This service lets you send automated emails to your contacts. It integrates seamlessly with ClickFunnels, making your life a lot easier.
Piece of Advice: Forget ClickFunnels and Aweber. For less than the price you'd pay for both, Funnel Freedom offers you the capabilities to build unlimited sales funnels and set up email autoresponders and automation. Get your free trial here.
Day 2: Launch—With a Focus on Content
On day two, Dave zeroes in on creating content without showing your face. It’s a smart move because lots of folks aren’t keen on being in front of a camera. It opens the door for many who are excited about starting an online biz but don’t want to be the center of attention just yet.
Over time, as you get the hang of things, you might feel ready to step in front of the camera, but that’s totally your call.
There’s also a video where Dave chats with a guy named David Jones, a student from Legendary Marketer. David managed to get 600,000 followers on social media within two months by using this approach of making content without needing to be on screen.
In a nutshell, this part of the challenge is all about learning to drive traffic using social media accounts.
Our Business Plan Advisor Call
I aimed to give you all a thorough yet concise review of the 5 Day Challenge. So, I set up a quick chat with one of the advisors at Legendary. I needed to do this to move on to Day 3 of the challenge. It all went smoothly; we were in the same time zone and I only had to wait a short while – about 15 minutes.
I’ll keep his identity private here, but let me tell you, he was really nice and totally relaxed. Some folks had said previously that these advisors can be quite pushy because there’s an offer to buy the Business Blueprints at the end for $2,500. But my experience? My guy was chill and didn’t pressure me at all.
Our chat was straightforward – we went into my background, my reasons for joining the challenge, and my past with online marketing. He suggested I take a look at some Wake Up Legendary interviews to help me out later. And when I asked if I could get access to all the remaining days right away, he did it without any fuss.
Day 3: Lead—With Confidence
On the third day, Dave breaks down how you can be the boss of your brand, figure out your ideal customers and their main struggles, and how to grow your following.
JoAnn, who handles marketing and training at Legendary Marketer, is going to show you a video where she covers the essential questions you need to nail down to connect with your audience.
She’ll talk about the key elements of great content – grabbing attention, delivering value, and suggesting next steps – and will set you up with exercises so you can practice whipping up some content of your own.
Sure, there’s work to be done, but it’s the kind of work that’ll pay off if you’re serious – and hey, it might even be a blast.
They’ve got this Google doc with a bunch of attention-grabbing starters for your content – 50 of them – tailored for any area you’re diving into. I’d love to share it, but I’ve got to respect their rules and keep it under wraps.
Day 4: Entrepreneur Mindset
In this part of the course, Dave dives into what it takes to put together an online business. He emphasizes the kind of thinking you need to become a big deal in your industry and in your own life, too.
Dave gets into the tough stuff we all face at times, like feeling like a fraud (that’s imposter syndrome) and not believing in ourselves.
But really, what he’s getting at is that having solid confidence in who you are is key to making it big.
Day 5: Business Plan Class
Kicking off an online business isn’t exactly a walk in the park, especially if it’s all new to you. The final part of the course is all about getting your plan down on paper. You’ll outline the steps you’re ready to take and consider how you’re going to start and grow your business.
Heads up, there’s a timed deal in the Business Plan Class. Hit the “BEGIN CLASS” button, and a 48-hour countdown starts ticking. During that period, you can snag all four of Legendary Marketer’s Business Blueprints for the cost of just one, setting you back $2,500. So, it’s smart to mull over this before jumping in so you don’t feel rushed later.
Getting swept up in FOMO can sometimes lead to moves you might wish you could take back. Just relax. Give yourself time to think it over and come to a decision. Once you’re set, you can start the class with a clear head.
5 Day Challenge vs. 15 Day Challenge
Legendary Marketer is well-known for being a reliable source for digital marketing training online.
They’ve recently updated their main offering, the 15 Day Challenge. It’s now more focused and easier to follow. Plus, they’ve included some new lessons that are pretty useful.
My Thoughts on the 5 Day Challenge
I really hope my review of the 5 Day Challenge gave you a good peek into what’s happening with this new program Legendary Marketer rolled out.
It’s not a one-size-fits-all kind of deal, particularly for those who’ve already tasted some success online. But, if you’re hunting for fresh ideas or a bit of inspiration, this challenge could very well have what you’ve been missing to really get your business moving.
